Current Delivery Information
All fireplace surround deliveries currently between 1 and 3 weeks.
Fireplace brackets are dispatched within 1 working day
Fires are generally delivered within 3 working days.
1st of January 2021 - Current Update
Our manufacturing and delivery are currently running as expected. All deliveries are on schedule and after receiving your order will be, (depending on your location), within 1 - 3 weeks. After receiving and checking your order, we will send an email outlining all the precautions we are taking to keep everybody safe during the delivery process.
When we call you to arrange your delivery slot, please inform us if you have any special requirements or safety precautions you would like adhering to.
If you want to discuss delivery before ordering, please don't hesitate to call.
10th of December Update
The majority of our deliveries will now be made in 2021, please call if you require any information or would like a delivery date. Our drivers will, on request, now deliver into your hallway.
2nd of November Update
Further to the latest lockdown measures that will take place from the 5th of November, we are still delivering to our existing schedule. However, following government guidelines we are not able to enter customers homes so our drivers will deliver to a doorstep, garage or shed. If the guidelines change and stop us delivering, then we will move all orders forward by two weeks until we are able to deliver, priority will be given to orders on a first-come, first-served basis.
27th October Update
Deliveries to wales are currently postponed until the 17th of November for South Wales and 18th of November for North Wales. Once these dates are full deliveries will push forward to the 1st and 2nd of December. If the restrictions change we will, of course, keep any customers with outstanding orders informed.
1st July 2020
We are currently very busy but are running on full capacity. All deliveries are between 1 and 4 weeks. Any customers whose delivery is disrupted due Covid 19 will be informed.
1st June 2020
All orders are now being delivered in July. We are offering free downlights on any order placed by June the 21st due to the delivery being outside our standard 1 - 3 weeks.
20th May 2020
Any order placed before 1 pm on the 22nd of May will be delivered before the end of May or the first few days of June. Orders after this date will be delivered in July.
12th May 2020
All orders are currently normal and will be planned on our standard 1 - 3 week delivery schedule. However to avoid disappointment please order as soon as you can as we may have to extend our delivery timetable in June.
2nd May 2020
Any order placed before the 8th of May is guaranteed within 1 - 3 weeks depending on your location. Please contact us if you would like an exact date before ordering. We will be reassessing the situation on a weekly basis so please order ASAP if you are wanting a fire surround urgently.
27 April 2020
We are starting production to clear out backorders on the 1st of May. We will be commencing our 1 - 3 week delivery schedule starting on the 5th of May. Orders placed before the 1st of May will be given priority, and orders after this date may miss their delivery slot, any order that is placed and misses the delivery slot will be scheduled into our next short production run.
1st April 2020
After the recent announcement by the government, we have had to review our manufacturing and delivery schedule. We have re-arranged delivery dates for when the lockdown will hopefully be over.
If you have ordered a surround from us then you should have received an email with a delivery date. If you order a surround from us during lockdown then we will send you a delivery date that will be after the 1st of May
When the lockdown is over and the day before your delivery (at the very latest)we will call to give you a two-hour delivery slot. If due to the lockdown extending we are not able to make this delivery date then we will email you again with a new schedule, hopefully, this won't be necessary.
Fires and Surrounds Covid 19 Delivery policy
The safety of both our customers and employees is paramount to us. To avoid the spread of Covid-19, we are actively following governmental guidelines with regards to social distancing and lockdown restrictions. This risk assessment is to protect all parties whilst delivering your fireplace during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
If you or any members of your household develop Covid-19 symptoms, you have been advised to take a Covid-19 test or are waiting for test results, please let us know and we will re-schedule your delivery for a later date.
All our drivers have the following PPE:
• Face Masks
• Hand Sanitiser
Before your delivery takes place, our drivers must ensure all three elements of PPE are used. Hands are to be sanitised before and after the delivery takes place (whilst parked in the van) and they must ensure that both face mask and gloves are in place before approaching your property.
We ask that both you and our drivers adhere to Governmental guidelines concerning social distancing. It is therefore essential that both parties maintain a two-meter distance at all times. Our drivers have been instructed not to accept any drinks that may be offered and not to use customers toilets. Customers must sign for all deliveries; however, our drivers are instructed not to provide pens, and we, therefore, request that customers use their own pen or that the driver take a photograph of the fireplace as proof of delivery.
Placement of Goods
Fires and Surrounds usual company policy is to deliver your fireplace to a room of your choosing and then unwrap and inspect each item. We do this to ensure that the fire surround is unwrapped correctly and that no damage is caused or is present on the fireplace. This policy has been temporarily suspended and replaced with three options, we will ask you for your preference when we call to arrange delivery:
1. Front Door Drop – Our driver meets you at your doorway, and you take the products into the house and unwrap them whilst the driver waits. Please note that the driver is only allocated 10 minutes per delivery.
2. External Building - Our driver delivers the fireplace to an exterior building such as a garage, porch, conservatory or shed. Maintaining a social distance, the driver will unwrap and check the products. The customer can then sign for the surround, or our driver will photograph the surround as proof of delivery.
3. Hallway Delivery – Our driver will place the products inside your house but cannot enter more than 3 metres from your front door. He will then unwrap the products whilst maintaining a safe social distance. The customer can then sign for the surround, or our driver will photograph the surround as proof of delivery.
