How much is delivery without a fire surround
Without a fire surround, variable charges are applied to products based on their size, weight and supplier; these delivery charges can be viewed at the basket stage, without having to proceed to purchase. With a fire surround delivery is free on everything.
Who will deliver my fire surround?
Every fireplace surround is delivered fully assembled and by our own dedicated delivery team.
Will you use a courier so that I can get my surround quicker?
Sorry, we will not use couriers, if you need a surround quicker than we can deliver it, then we would prefer you bought from another company. We transport everything ourselves so that our customers can check their fireplace surround and be 100% happy before we leave. These are large furniture items that are easily damaged, and in our experience, any other type of delivery is a lottery. We supplement the cost of delivery to give our customers the best buying experience possible. If you prefer your surround delivered in a cardboard box using the cheapest method available, then please use another retailer. How long does it take from ordering products to the day of delivery?
Delivery of goods to most locations will generally take up to 15 working days from payment, however delivery to postcode stating with IV and AB can take longer depending on the date of order. You will be fully advised of the exact delivery date within 48 hours of purchase. During very busy periods delivery times may increase.
Can I nominate a specific time & date for delivery?
We will endeavour to arrange delivery at the most convenient time for you and will provide you with the exact date and a two hour delivery slot. Our delivery service works Monday to Friday 06:00 to 17:00.
Will we be contacted on the day of delivery?
Our driver can contact you approximately 30 minutes before delivery if you request this service. Otherwise, we will only contact you on the day if we are outside the supplied delivery slot.
What happens if I am not in to take delivery?
We contact all customers before the delivery date either by email or phone to give a 2-hour slot. If you are not in when we attempt to make the delivery, then re-delivery will be in two weeks, and there will be a £25 charge. Although we make every effort to stick to the 2-hour slot given, please allow for unforeseen circumstances.
Do you deliver to my area?
We deliver to all of mainland Great Britain except to areas where the postcode starts with PA29, PA28, PA23, SA, TR & TW, IV19, IV20, IV21, IV22, IV23, IV24, IV25, IV26, IV27, IV28, IV40, IV41, IV42, IV43, IV44, IV45, IV46, IV47, IV48, IV49, IV51, IV52, IV53, IV54, IV55 & IV56, KW.
I'm not in an area that you deliver to, what are my options?
We will deliver to a courier organised by a customer. The surrounds are carefully inspected and photographed before packaging; any damage that may occur is between the customer and the courier to resolve; we can not accept any responsibility. If you contact us, we may be able to give you a list of couriers that you can contact. We also will meet customers if they wish to hire a van and arrange a mutually convenient location, please be aware our fire surrounds are fully assembled and large, they will not fit in most estate cars.
Are fireplaces supplied fully assembled?
Wooden fire surrounds are delivered assembled, and bubble wrapped. Fires are provided in their manufacturer's cardboard box, and marble sets are cardboard wrapped separately.
What happens if I spot some damage when inspecting the fire surround?
Our delivery driver will unwrap the fire surround and will inspect it for any damage, and they will also ask you to do the same. We do everything we can to ensure your fire surround is in 100% perfect condition when delivered; inevitably, even with the best will in the world, problems will occasionally arise. If damage is found, all you have to do is tell the driver, he will put it back on the van and we will sort out the problem, you do not need to arrange anything. Usually, delivery will be two weeks from that date; however we will attempt to re-deliver as soon as possible.
